iPhone X Vs Galaxy Note 8
Apple’s device is bold and striking design. iPhone 6, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 are quite same in terms of design, but iPhone X is very different. It has an edge-to-edge screen. The screen is larger than iPhone 8 Plus. It also has a glass sandwich design which makes the phone more fragile and protects from accidental damages. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is edge-to-edge bezel-free. It comes with button less screen design, which makes it difficult to protect the screen from damage.
iPhone X comes in two colors – Silver and Space Gray. Similarly, Galaxy Note 8 is available in two different colors – Midnight Black and Maple Gold.
Apple’s model has Face ID system that can be used to unlock your phone. Samsung’s device comes with biometric security along with its face recognition and an iris scanner. It also has a fingerprint scanner, which it built into the back.
This iOS model has a dual-lens rear-facing camera that offers Portrait Mode. It also comes with SLR-style bokeh picture effect that allows you to blur the background. Portrait lighting is an another lighting effect which is available in Portrait Mode on iPhone X. The same effect is also available iPhone 8 Plus, but missing in iPhone 7 Plus.
Samsung’s android model has a dual-lens camera on the back. It has a Live Focus feature that allows users to add and adjust a bokeh effect after taking a shot.
iPhone X has the capability to store up to 64GB or 256GB, whereas Galaxy Note 8 comes with 64GB of internal storage capability. But, it can be expanded up to 256GB using Micro-SD.
iPhone X is slim and light in weight. You may find better front camera in Samsung, but Apple’s device offers its Portrait Mode bokeh effect in front and rear camera. iPhone X also comes with the Face ID feature, which is much more secure as well as sophisticated than facial recognition in Galaxy Note 8.
